G'day
Stargate Atlantis is now airing the second part of Season 2 in Canada. Episodes that have been seen so far are 11 & 12. Currently My Episodes only shows the new season as airing in Jan.
Is it possible for this to be updated to reflect that it is now being shown again? |

myepisodes gets it's data from tv.com, you'll have to tell them. But they probably won't, since they are US oriented.
And while you are at it, maybe let them know that Invasion episode 11 doesn't air 11/21/2005, but rather 12/21/2005.

the stargate series (atlantis and sg1) as well as bsg are tricky ones. They even air over in the UK for part of the year first also. Just wish tv.com would pick up on that I'm sure it'd be easy enough to allow us to update this manually, but once you start down that road you could end up doing it for all the shows. Simply not enough users to do that here yet unfortunatly. |

thanks for the info.. i was afraid of you saying it gets its info from tv.com ;(
The site should be programmed to use multiple sources and also possible for the user to configure which is their primary source and even disable sources.
So as to not get to complicated coding wise, the guys could just find two other tv guides site like tv.com but for Europe and Canada and allow them to be used. By default the site could use tv.com but in say a control panel page the user could untick tv.com and say use the Canadian or European (ie UK) tv site so they get the right air dates. |

This is something that we continue to talk about, and it is important since the foundation of this page is build on the information it gets form other sites, we really need a debate on what information to use and how.
I love the idea about using more then one site, and special giving the users the option on what databases to use so that they can be up-to-date.
So I hope that Pengo will type up a request for that so that we can try to get a debate started.

If you do make this change, make sure it's configurable per show, not globally for all the users shows.
