Meh, Y2K was immensely overrated.

I guess we express ourselves in too similar a way.
Expecting that others will understand what's meant, kind of way.
Also, it kept looking like facedancer knew the answer, but wanted me to figure it out myself, and thus sort of guided me. And I was in the middle of a raid while chatting. |

I had years of freelance contract work off the back of that 
In the early 90s I did think storing the year as 2 digits made a lot of sense.

I had a good idea what the issue is, but had not look deeply into it.
I also could have done a better job of pointing you in the right direction.
I've not played WoW for a week or so, need to log in soon to see what's going on and empty my mail.

Well, the old world is unexplainably better. Basically, Outlands is the sucky place now. The questing experience in Outlands is just so 'meh' compared to the rest of the game.
60-70 < 70-80 < 1-60 < 80-85. Not sure about the order of the last 2 though. They're both really good.
Also, this first tier of cataclysm raid-content actually provides a decent challenge, and it took a little bit for my casual guild to kill all the bosses. And even world first 'everything' wasn't done before 6 weeks or so into the expansion, where it's usually within the first week (per tier), unless there's some sort of gating. |
