Status - TVRage down & the future

Hi everyone.

Yes, we are aware that TVrage is down.
MyEpisodes is not forgotten and will persevere.

I use the site myself; therefore I will endeavour to keep the site going for my own needs. I had just hoped that tvrage.com would be back online long before now.
I started this site back when i was in high school (think it was in 1998) - so there is no chance in hell I will let it die off Smile

We are looking into becoming independent from tvrage.com. Unfortunately I am quite busy with my normal work and my spare time is extremely limited. So I am looking for a good/professional programmer. Bear in mind we rely on donation and thus have a very small budget, this is why you are never bother by ads and commercials. Smile

If you want to help us bring MyEpisodes into the future and be part of an awesome small team of passionate TV-lovers feel free to write me. Please understand that MyEpisodes may look simple on the frontend, this is intentional, but behind the scene it is not so simple, so we do require someone who actually knows SQL and PHP programming like it was their second language.
If you feel up for the task at hand, please don't hessitate to write me on [email protected]

Please have patience and I will get the site ready for you ASAP.

Most "Returning" shows that were missing data have been updated.
Will take a few days to get everthing ralated to tvrage removed, but now we are getting data updated again.

Hey man, ive used this website since god knows when (probably around 2007 ish?!!)

just want to say i love it and you do an amazing job.

if there's anything we can do to help let us know. Unfortunately im no programmer. sorry!!

i think tvrage will be back though, it says o their twitter they will be back soon??

First of all thanks for this site. Using it for a few years now, very easy and great overview. Was a bit difficult last month, but we survived.. lol. Seems all updated now Smile

If you like, you could consider making a public bitcoin address for donations. I will definitely send you some bits. Should save you also on fees for small donations compared to paypal.

so good to see you back.
Sadly, at the moment you can't click on episodes to get to the show page on TVRage (as it's not on anyway), so when you say you are thinking of becoming a separate entity, are you talking about writing recaps for episodes, cast, shows and everything, yourself, or relying on TVRage or the likes (like TVMaze) for that info and hyperlinking it to there... ?

MyEpisodes is definitely the best out there. Not giving up on it.
Hopefully everything will go back to normal soon. Would've helped if I could.

It's great reading that this page is being updated again. myepisodes has its flaws but it's convenient and easy to use due its simplicity, which is why I like this page so much and I hope that it will stay online for many more years to come Smile
