Date should be 1st airdate.

Sometimes a show airs first in a different country than where it was produced. (Stargate Atlantis, Stargate SG-1, and others.)
TVRage always use the airdates from the production country even when they are not first.
Since we are not all living in the same country, I think the best way is to use the first airdate.

The first airdate (World Premiere) is already available at tvrage.com if you look at the individual episodes (fx. http://www.tvrage.com/Stargate_Atlantis/episodes/399225/3x17).
We only need to have the feed modified to use that date.

It's a custom feed for MyEpisodes, it's not as simple as you make it sound.

Actually it is.

Since it is already a custom feed, nothing else will be broken by changing it.
And the actual change is one line of code.

I could do it myself in 2 min if I had access to the system Cool

Oh no no. That's not what I meant.

I did not want access to anything. I was only trying to illustrate how simple it was by giving an estimated time.

What this poll is really about is whether the date should be changed or not.
I am confidant that the admins can make any changes that are needed.
(Though they will probably need to be changed at TVRage)

All that being said, should the admins ever need assistance, I will be glad to help. Very Happy

I totally agree with the OP. Most people, including myself, probably use this site as a guide so they know when epsides are available to download. That's why is makes perfect sense to list episodes by first air date worldwide.

The country the show was produced in is an irrelevant statistic, let alone a logical listing method!
