[Request Name]
Watched / Aquired remotely
[Description]
Option to set (or even get) a flag (checkbox).
I've tried looking for a "proper" workaround, i've found out that in the "V10-19-06" and "A10-19-06" the following things are:
A / V (Aquired / Viewed)
10 = ShowID (http://www.myepisodes.com/views.php?type=epsbyshow&showid=X (x = showid))
19 = Season
6 = Episode number
The "get" thing would return a 1 or a 0 if it is checked or not. (1 = checked)
[Target URL]
remote.php?uid=Username&pw=md5pass&action=[SET/GET]&type=[A/V]&id=10-19-6
or
remote.php?uid=Username&pw=md5pass&action=[SET/GET]&id=V10-19-6
or
remote.php?uid=Username&pw=md5pass&action=[SET/GET]&showid=10&season=19&episode=6
[Comments]
This would be a nice way to interface with MyEpisodes, it would be useful in some of my personal utilities.
Thanks for the great site!

I see what you want, but your suggestion it is a very bad way to do it.
Lets say you want to query the aquired/watched status of all episodes in just a normal season with 24 episodes.
Since you want to GET the property you would query the remote.php 24+24 times just for acquired and watched properties.
But it could be done in another way, maybe with some sort of XML or SOAP. |

Well, XML or Soap are "overkill" in my case. Also, my use for this feature would just be single (or two) episodes. Nothing more, just basic stuff.
I want to integrate episode's I've physically watched with the results on MyEpisodes. Same goes for the acquired ones.
For multiple episodes, comma separated episode id's (or a range like 1-24) would be a different possibility.
Let me know what you think of that. Much simpler to create and integrate (imho) |
